Supportive Housing

Supportive housing provides affordable accommodations and services to help those living with mental illness enjoy a more stable and productive life. This model typically targets individuals who are experiencing difficulty maintaining permanent housing without appropriate oversight. Residents are supported by a Peer Specialist program, which is designed to help them maintain stable housing, decrease mental and physical health risks, reduce the utilization of emergency services, provide resources, increase community integration, and offer one-on-one support and educational opportunities. All referrals are screened and approved by Milwaukee County. Contact Milwaukee County Housing Division at 414-278-4894, or call 2-1-1, to learn more about supportive housing.

Supportive Apartment Model

The objective of this model is to reduce the utilization of emergency services, and offer residents a stable, safe, and cost-effective place to live.

Housing First Model
